CAYMAN ISLANDS OWEN ROBERTS AIRPORT
reconfigured one large existing baggage claim carousel, making two
smaller ones and enabling the authority at this very busy and growing terminal - to handle two flights simultaneously.
Sorry folks - our installation crew are not looking for helpers at this time!
Home of the oldest (1978) Mathews Carousel we have been called to service. Overhaul, extension and new controls saved this small municipal airport many thousands of dollars. It now runs as smoothly as the day it was first installed.
ABBOTSFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
After completion of a runway extension to handle larger aircraft, the higher baggage load was accommodated by consolidating two small claim devices into one large one.
When large airports switch to self-serve baggage check, surplus scale/induction conveyors become available to smaller airports, often in mint condition, at bargain prices.
VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Met requirement for increased baggage handling capacity
by extending three existing carousels, each by twelve meters. Cost saving was in the region of $80,000.00
GRANDE PRAIRIE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Purchased one new carousel to handle increased domestic arrivals, but extended and reconfigured an existing unit
for use by International arrivals. Cost savings $40,000.00
KAMLOOPS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Huge
Kamloops abundant sunshine, place
this arrival hall among the most welcoming of
the many we service. Well done Kamloops!
The shiny new carousel that greets international arrivals is in fact a carefully rebuilt veteran of thirty years service.
