ABBOTSFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
After completion of a runway extension to handle larger aircraft, the higher baggage load was accommodated by consolidating two small claim devices into one large one.
When large airports switch to self-serve baggage check, surplus scale/induction conveyors become available to smaller airports, often in mint condition, at bargain prices.
VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Met requirement for increased baggage handling capacity
by extending three existing carousels, each by twelve meters. Cost saving was in the region of $80,000.00
GRANDE PRAIRIE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Purchased one new carousel to handle increased domestic arrivals, but extended and reconfigured an existing unit
for use by International arrivals. Cost savings $40,000.00
